Story
A third time for me running the Sheffield half marathon for the Sheffield hospital’s charity. And my first year as one of the run leaders in the Sheffield teaching hospitals running group. We’ve had a phenomenal start to the half marathon course, with 50+ at the first two training sessions, so hopefully we should be able to raise a large amount for the charity and the work it supports.
The Sheffield Hospitals Charity supports the work of all the NHS Hospitals in Sheffield (STH and Children’s). You can find out more about some of the exciting work, research and developments going on, on the charity’s website::

In particular, there’s some interesting research going on into treatments and potential cures for multiple sclerosis, at the Royal Hallamshire hospital. As some of you may know, my brother’s first wife suffered with MS and passed away a number of years ago.
Let’s help make this a record breaking year for the charity and support the work of the Hospitals in Sheffield!
