For almost 300 years, St George's Hanover Square has served the people of London's West End as a place of worship, celebration, culture and reflection.  From its earliest days, when it served a parish that once extended as far as Pimlico and Knightsbridge, St George's has played a prominent role at the heart of the community.

As well as being a place of spiritual leadership, St George's is also a renowned centre of musical excellence, with one of our most famous parishioners being George Frideric Handel.  With Handel in mind, we recently replaced our organ to give it a new voice and lease of life, as one of the leading organs in London.  It is, as far as we know, the only American-made organ in the UK, and one that truly has a wide tonal palette and ability to cover repertoire from all eras.

Having restored our organ to its former glory, we now need to cover the cost.  Any and all gifts are hugely appreciated so that generations to come can enjoy the music and character of St George's Hanover Square.  We hope that through our guardianship of this wonderful instrument, we can provide a legacy for many more to enjoy.
