Our cousin Pamela suffered from Friedreichs Ataxia (a degenerative disease of the central nervous system) she was diagnosed age 9. Sadly she passed away in December 2012 just 9 days before her 32^nd birthday. Scott and I have great memories of growing up with Pamela and although Pamela was wheelchair bound from the age of 15, she always had a fantastic sprit, was fiercely independent and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Ataxia UK have set a target of finding a cure for the condition by 2020, your donation will help bring that target a step closer.
