Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our cousin Pamela suffered from Friedreichs Ataxia (a degenerative disease of the central nervous system) she was diagnosed age 9. Sadly she passed away in December 2012 just 9 days before her 32nd birthday. Scott and I have great memories of growing up with Pamela and although Pamela was wheelchair bound from the age of 15, she always had a fantastic sprit, was fiercely independent and was an inspiration to all who knew her.   Ataxia UK have set a target of finding a cure for the condition by 2020, your donation will help bring that target a step closer.

Thank you

Stewart and Scott
