I am attempting to run my first (and quite possibly last) marathon for Kent Association for the Blind. I have long harboured a desire to run a marathon and given it is likely my legs will give out soon, I thought it best to sign up sooner rather than later. Despite originally missing out on the ballot my ever helpful wife managed to get me the last remaining place to run for her place of employment.  So having thought I had escaped and having breathed a large sigh of relief I now find myself nipple deep in Vaseline and off the Stella. Would really appreciate it if you could spare a few pounds for a great cause along with your prayers that I don't die en route.
