Story
My dad passed in November 2022 from liver disease. I am taking part in all four Kiltwalks in 2024 both in his memory and to hopefully help raise some funds for continuing the research into liver diseases and associated conditions. I am very keen to highlight the local support groups and the work they do. This would have been a resource we could have leant on when dad passed, had we been aware.

The mighty stride, long distance for each event, which mirrors my strategy and personality, in not doing things by halfs and in being a fully conscripted challenge seeker/idiot (delete as appropriate!)
My foot drop will increase the difficulty of the challenge, but I find happiness in the propect of being somewhat active again, and training for something, seeing as I can no longer run.
NEW IN!!! 20/2/24
Not sufficient of a glutton for punishment I have added the 24hr National 3 Peaks Challenge to this years list of challenges. I've completed Ben Nevis on 5 previous occasions, 4.1/2 of these with dad, we met him on the way down last time out, but I've never tackled Scafell Pike or Snowdon, but it does mean MUCH more training needed!!
Any help our support you can offer is massively appreciated, whether it be by donating, or by joining me for a walk!
I will try and update this when I can, though it tells me it will link with Strava, which in turn links to Apple Health, which in turn will feed info onto here. Time will tell! Thanks for reading, here is just a little more...
