Ethan's story.

My son is now 5 years old . He was first diagnosed with Autism at the age of about a 1:5 years old and since then it has been a very difficult time for Ethan. To just be able to adjust to normal life has proven very challenging for him. He has had the help and guidance from outside agencies and his family. He has been able to attend nursery and then onto a special school, which he now goes to full time and is finally reaping the rewards by becoming more outgoing, confident and being able to interact with others. The Autistic society has helped immensely in his development and providing the tools to help him through his childhood and this is one of the biggest reasons why I want to help in anyway I can so that this fantastic charity can continue to provide help, not just for Ethan but for every other child who suffers with Autism.

I have decided to run the Jersey marathon on the 2nd October 2016 in aid of the Autistic Society and will be training for the next 16 weeks in preparation. I am not going to stop there because my plan is to increase my mileage next year and start looking at ultra marathon's and then who knows what next. So please any spare change that you might have no matter how small please donate it to my cause.

Thank you so much for reading this
