Story
Liam and I often spoke about running the marathon. He’d always wanted to do it and I’ve ran it twice in the past, in 2017 and then again in 2019. He’d always get enthusiastic when we spoke about it and the buzz of doing it. So when Liam tragically took his own life in 2021, it smashed a big hole in the hearts of all that knew him. I knew I had to do it again for him!
Mental Health can affect anyone and I’ve been there at my lowest point and still have dark days. This charity does amazing work in supporting people on a daily basis to get through any crisis
Please help me raise as much as I can even if it’s just a £1. Every £1 counts
Now the hard bit. I haven’t ran the streets since my last marathon in 2019. I was hoping to get a little more notice of being accepted into the marathon. But here we are…… I’ve got just 8 weeks to get marathon fit starting from scratch.
This is a big one for me. To prove to myself at 45 I can do it and to help others along the way
Thanks again for all those that do sponsor and support me along the way
Much love…
