Brighton Marathon 2011 · 10 April 2011 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

On Sunday 10 April 2011 whilst you are enjoying a spring morning with your loved ones, maybe tucking into breakfast, curled up on the sofa in front of the TV or even recovering from a little bit of over indulgence the night before, I'm going to be running 26.2 miles  in and around the streets of Brighton and Hove to raise as much money as I can for the Teenage Cancer Trust in the Brighton Marathon.

I'm doing this as this charity does some truly amazing work for young people who've been diagnosed with cancer during probably the most vulnerable period of their lives, and is truly worthy of every penny you wish to donate. So please give as generously as you can and feel righteously worthy that in donating you have made a positive contribution to helping young people with this terrible disease. Oh, and spare a thought for me whatever you're doing on April 10!

Ta,

Steve
