Story
On October the 14th 2018 I will be running the Birmingham half marathon the reason for doing this is that I recently learnt the news that a friends little boy call Ciaran (oliver call's him kiki) who is two years of age has been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscle dystrophy or DMD.
There's no know cure for DMD which is a muscle wasting condition and for those who have been diagnosed face a life expectancy of just 30 years of age. Duchenne UK's mission is to find a cure within the next ten years and completely eradicate DMD. My aim is to raise £1000 to help them with their research and to achieve their target.
