St Cuthbert’s Hospice provides specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and the bereaved. They make no charge for their services, ensuring Hospice care is available to everyone. It costs over £2 million each year to keep St Cuthbert's Hospice running, most of which comes from charitable donations which, have been greatly affected during the Pandemic.
In August, Andy Black, Mark Berriman, Mike Hay, Chris Mattison and myself with our support crew’s assistance, will walk from the Forth Road Bridge to St. Cuthbert’s Hospice, Durham. The route will take us through Edinburgh then along the coastal paths to Sunderland. We’ll then head inland via The Weardale Way to Durham and finish at St. Cuths.
It’s roughly 220 miles starting on Thursday 5th August, finishing on Monday 9th August. Five days of walking around 44 miles a day.
We would be extremely grateful for any donations received to help support this amazing establishment.
