Story
Every year, I like to try to raise money for a charity. In the past, I have shaved my head, grown a beard and my hair for a year and shaved it off and I've also sculpted a few bits and bobs to sell, all for different charities. This year I have chosen the Alzheimer's Society because of the work they do, combating the debilitating effects of Alzheimer's and other forms of Dementia.
I have a personal connection to the cause, after working as a carer in a dementia home and facing the many challenges that the disease can present.
This year, I am intending to get more active and will be doing 20 press-ups a day, starting on 4th November 2022 and ending on 04th May 2023.
This will be a big challenge for me because I have not been particularly active, over the last couple of years due to being knocked back by long-COVID; which really hit my lungs and my confidence.
I am hoping that my ability to do press-ups will dramatically improve over the six month period that I have chosen and you will be able to see it because I plan on a short video for each little session.
Please save this page and share it far and wide so that we can raise as much money as we can, for those who desperately need it.
