In September, I’m participating in the Swansea Bay 10K run for charity, with all donations going directly to Cancer Research UK. I’ve never participated in this type of event before and my inspiration and motivation is my son Steffan who had cancer when he was 9. Thanks to the awesome care of the staff at Llandough Hospital our story has a happy ending and he’s been clear of this cruel disease for 9 years. Many others are less fortunate.

As a personal goal, I’m currently training to complete the run in less than 1 hour.
