We fund life-changing and life-saving work to support cancer patients at The Christie

Story

come on only a few more weeks to go. please please sponsor me.

In October 2010 just before her 40th birthday, my sister Lisa was diagnosed with throat cancer. She had 3 courses of chemo at The Christie and was discharged home on Christmas Eve. In the January of 2011 she began 6 weeks of gruelling radiotherapy. After this it was months of recovery and I am glad to say that she has done really well and is back to full health.

Christmas 2010 was a tough year for Lisa and her girls, Abi and Lucy but thanks to the help and support from all the staff at The Christie they all got through it.

I am doing this bike ride just as a small thank you to everyone at The Christie for keeping my sister going strong even if she is still a pain in the bum. Love you really Lisa x
