Im running my fourth Great North Run and this one is the most important. With all sporting and social events being cancelled this March and April, and who knows when they will resume? A huge amount of money that would have been raised for charities is not happening. So it’s more important now then ever to help those who need it and I’m fundraising for a great local charity “The Hartlepool Special Needs Support Group”. I’ve seen first hand the amazing work they do providing activities and fun packed events, giving children and young people with disabilities an enhanced quality of life, allowing them to growing in confidence and gain the firm foundation and experiences upon which they can build in order to enjoy future opportunities.
