Story

In May 2020, our amazing Alice was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Neuroblastoma. Over the next seven months Alice fought a brave and fearless fight against this horrific disease with the help of the fantastic team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Despite the most intense treatment schedule, Alice sadly passed away in December 2020 due to the re-occurrence of the Neuroblastoma.

We’re so grateful for the extra 7 months that the fantastic team at Birmingham Children’s Hospital gave us with Alice. She endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy, an eleven hour surgery, stem cell harvest, multiple blood transfusions, and frequent scans and tests; all with her characteristic smile and cheekiness! We have decided to set up this fundraising page in memory of Alice and her brave fight, to say thank you to the dedicated staff at the hospital who helped us all as a family in so many ways.

Thanks for your donation, we hope the money raised goes to help those children and families at BCH.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
