Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We (Steven Brennan & Andrew Jackson) are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in June 2012 along with Danny Morris, Danny Watson & Andy Kendall-Jones in aid of the Motor Neurnone Disease Association.

Mount Kilimanjaro sits on the Northern border of Tanzania overlooking Kenya and is the highest free standing mountain in the world at 19,341 ft above sea level.

MNDA is a charity that helps to fund research and helps people and their families affected with this illness.

Motor Neurone Disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disease with no cure that leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing. Billy (Steven's dad) was diagnosed with the disease and unfortunately lost his brave battle in January 2012.

We are aiming to raise as much in funds and awareness as possible for this worthwhile, underfunded charitable organisation.
