Story

Steve had such a passion for life, supporting people’s goals and ambitions and spreading a cheeky smile wherever he went. Sadly Steve lost his brave fight to COVID-19 and will be forever missed as an incredibly loving husband, dad, brother and friend.

Steve was so wonderfully cared for by the incredible Intensive Treatment Unit at Darent Valley Hospital that we would like to give something back. This page is set up in memory of him and donations will go directly to the unit to help them to create an outdoor area for patients that so desperately need it. Steve loved the outdoors and this project feels so fitting.

We have also set up a 'Forget Me Not' Candle which can be purchased via the 'Little Soy Candle Co' website. Proceeds from each candle will be donated directly to this page. Steve's 'wave of light' will be happening on 31st March at 8:00pm. All are invited to join either with these dedicated candles or a candle at home.

We thank you for taking the time to either purchase a candle or donate directly to this page. Your support means the world to not only us as a family but to our incredible NHS.
