Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having tried and failed for 6-years in a row, I have finally gained a place in the London Marathon 2018, running on behalf of a fantastic charity, the Bone Cancer Research Trust.
This year is particularly poignant for me as I am running in memory of my father, John Larkin. He was diagnosed with primary cancer of the spine on 8th February 2017, and very sadly passed away a little over 5-weeks later on 18th March. I can think of no greater memory and dedication of his life than to give 4-hours of my life (I hope !) to run around the streets of London raising money and awareness of Bone Cancer Research. The date of the race will also be a few days past what would have been his 81st birthday.
