My husband Steve passed away at North Devon Hospice in early July.  I have no words to describe the excellent treatment he was given, by the whole team at Deer Park, in the last few days of his life.  I know the care and compassion they showed made a huge impression on him and it certainly made a massive difference to me.  The staff at the bedded unit took all the pressure off me, I literally felt as though a weight was lifted from my shoulders...I was able to take my carers "hat" off and to be his loving partner once again, by his side throughout everything. 

I needed to do something to repay all the kindness, the respect, the dignity that was shown...the words "Thank you" just weren't enough however often I said them!  A friend told me about the Exmoor Ramble and here I am asking anyone who knew Steve and myself to please donate a little something...however small.... because it will make a difference to this amazing place.
