Steve Hadley is raising money for Dementia UK
Story
Me and my good friend John Pickup are off on a car rally to Rimini in Italy, because you only live once. We are raising money for Dementia UK, who have been an enormous help with moms illness over the past few years.
1200 miles in 3 days, and it has come time to choose what we are going to drive. Maybe a Jaguar? Perhaps an Aston? How about an fast Audi or BMW? Oh, I forgot to mention that the vehicle used can not cost more than £300!
So we are now the proud joint owners of .............. a gold Rover 800 Sterling!!!!! 2 owners from new, the last one being 95 years old. Oh, and in the last 2 years it has done just over the mileage we need to do in 3 days. What could possibly go wrong???
