Every year the world tin bath racing championships are held in the harbour at Castletown in the Isle of Man. The event is open to anyone and judged on three categories:

First to finish (male/female)
Best bath
First to sink

I'm putting together a special bath for this year's competition, with the aim to raise as much money for CoppaFee.org as possible. But I'm not just asking you to put your money where my mouth is, check out the pictures on this page to see how I got on last year (cough - winner in the best bath category 2009!!).

Unlike other money raising efforts, which involve little more than a gentle stroll (London Marathon) or ascending a gentle slope (climbing Mount Kilimanjaro); the world of Tin Bath racing is a cut throat atmosphere of elite athletes, each literally risking their lives (have you ever tasted the water in Castletown Harbour???), all competing in precision engineered transports the like of which are rarely seen outside of the F1 pitlane.

So, what;s it worth to you to see me sink, perhaps never to rise until the next low tide? Go on, support an incredibly worthy cause that can actually save lives.
