Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
I participated in RLSB's inaugural Blindfold Run last year with my pal, Ian, along with 106 other pairs of runners. It was an amazing experience!
Our motivation was to raise awareness and some funds for the Royal London Society for Blind People who rely solely on charitable donations to support their work helping visually impaired & blind children and young people.
This year, my wife Sally is joining me. She's not a runner but we are celebrating 25 years of marriage this year and I can't think of anyone better to put my trust in as we tackle the blindfold running challenge!
Please support us if you can. Even the smallest donation will make a massive difference!!
RLSB's mission is to support thousands of blind young people to live life without limits through an expert blend of sport, education, creative & developmental services designed to unleash their potential. It's unacceptable that in 21st century Britain, 1 in 4 blind & partially sighted children under 12 are depressed, 2 in 3 blind & partially sighted people are on the poverty line and 90% of those who lose their sight in youth won't work for more than 6 months in their lives. Your support will help RLSB to change this.
Thank you
