Steve Guthrie, a Lift whisperer at Concept Elevators, and Robert Boaden, Regional Manager and all round nice bloke, have been friends for 8 years since Steve started working for Concept. They have decided to challenge themselves to walk Coast to Coast in approximately 8 days. This will cover a route from St Bees on the West coast to Robin Hoods bay on the East Coast and will start Friday 26th May 2023 This is approximately 194 miles and they will need to average 27 miles a day with hopes to be in the pub for lunch time on the last day.

They plan to carry camping equipment with them with the aim to wild camp for several nights and maybe get the odd B&B for hygiene reasons and a little alone time.

They have been training for some considerable time with Steve bullying Rob into entering and completing a joint Hyrox event in Feb this year. Following Rob surviving this his wife again checked his life insurance policy and agreed to let them out to play again.

They plan to raise as much money as possible for McMillan and provide updates on their progress on various social media outlets. Steve will be providing these updates as Rob has no idea how they work as he is over 50.

Please donate as little or as much as you like, we all know what good MacMillan do and the help and support they provide. Also the boys have given up a weeks holiday for this so will be annoyed if they don't raise anything.
