Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Starting on 23rd August 2008, we will be attempting to walk the Arran Coastal Way, a 100km circuit of the Island. The route surface varies from tarmac, woodland track to sandy beach and boulder fields, it is also at times dependent on the tide. We will be carrying everything we require to complete the route which we envisage will take us 7 days (6 nights). Where no camp sites exist we will be 'wild camping' or may utilise the odd cave!
We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Combat Stress, a cause we feel to be particularly worthy for its work in supporting ex servicemen and women (ranging in age from the early 20s to their 70s!) traumatised by their experiences.
We are meeting the entire cost of carrying out the walk, every penny raised will go to Combat Stress.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: COMBAT STRESS gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
