Team Vertigo aka Jan, Steve and Fiona are going to be abseiling down the side of the Windsor building at the Leicester Royal Infirmary in July 2023. The funds we raise will go to help Leicester's Hospitals.

We have two different departments that we'd like to donate to..

Jan says:- Dementia is a growing problem in society and one close to my heart as my father, once articulate and bright is gradually becoming a victim of this debilitating disease which affects not only the individual but also those who love and care for them. When my father really needed a safe place to recuperate we were introduced to the Evington Centre. The staff in this small unit showed patience and care not only for my father but also for other members of the family.

I am raising funds for the Evington Centre so that it can continue to make a difference for other families in their time of need as it did for my family.

Steve and Fiona both want to donate to Cancer care:- There are very few of us whose lives haven't in some way been touched by cancer. Steve in particular has lost grandparents, his father-in-law and friends but we are both doing this in memory of everyone lost to this illness. It is equally important to us that we raise awareness and funds to help with support and treatment of those currently battling with this illness and for those who may yet have to do so.

None of us have a head for heights but for these two great causes we have agreed to face our fears and abseil down the Windsor Building, please help us to help the Evington Centre and Cancer care by donating whatever you can afford to these worthy causes.
