Riding this distance was personal goal I set at the start of the year. As I shared the goal, people asked me if I was doing this for a cause. I did the 'run the month' fundraiser for Prostate Cancer last year, so I'd like to follow up with another donation event this year.

Prostate cancer almost got my dad, but with early diagnosis and treatment it was caught in time. Black men are at twice the risk (1 in 4) to the disease. We don't know why, so staying on top of your options is important. (https://prostatecanceruk.org/risk-checker)

So I'm riding over 250 miles over a weekend from Preston to London with my best friend, Paul to test ourselves and raise awareness! It's a lot of hours in the saddle and we're praying for good weather!
