I have known about the work of Mothers' Union for many years (my wife is very involved in the local branch...), and the more I hear about them, the more I realise what brilliant work they do.

I have enjoyed cycling for most of my life, but never yet ridden as far as 100 miles in one day – so this seemed a good way to take on the challenge.
