Story

On Saturday 19 October 2013, members of the counselling and physiotherapy teams, and their families (!) will be running a 10K obstacle and assault course at Eridge Park, Nr Tunbridge Wells. The Major Series challenge includes deep stench trenches, balance beams and blockade walls, wobbly bridges over lakes and a freezing ice crawl, not to mention the steepest hills and the thickest woods! And some very slippery mud!! To watch a video of the event click on http://www.majorseries.com/.

Your sponsorship and donations will be put to good use by our counselling and physio departments.

Counselling:
£210 will fund a course of 6 counselling sessions for people with MND or their carers
£540 will fund a course of 12 telephone counselling sessions for people with CFS / ME

Physio:
Many of our patients have complex physical needs and severe disabilities. So that they can benefit from hydrotherapy we need a new pool hoist and adjustable changing trolleys so that they can get in and out of the pool safely. This equipment will cost nearly £10,000. Please help us to reach this target.

All the money raised will go towards upgrading our facilities and offering care to more people. Your donation, however small, will directly benefit one of our patients.

Thank you
