Bupa Great South Run 2012 · 28 October 2012 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our friend's Dad recently had a Stroke which has had a huge impact on his life.   We got to know him when he kindly allowed us to stay at his house in France during the Summers before we had kids.   I decided to do this run for a charity that would support him and the thousands of other people affected by strokes each year. The Stroke Association do amazing work supporting people through their recovery and so I feel they are a charity worth giving to.
