After three phases of standard chemo failed to deliver a cure,  I found myself on a phase 1 trial. This did work but the side effects were significant. I was lucky, since my diagnosis I've lost friends, family and neighbours to cancer. So on going research is important. What ever money I raise might be so meaningful to somebody in or yet to undergo treatment with new techniques.
