Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm running the Birmingham 1/2 Marathon on 11th Ocober and am dedicating my efforts to Macmillan who do such good work to support so many people affected by cancer. Having been impacted by two cancer related deaths in the past 18 months I felt this was a worthy cause to inspire me to do something I've never done before! I'm aiming to complete the course in under 1hr 45 minutes so have set my fundraising bar at £145. Hopefully the fundraising target will be less painful to achieve than the actual run!!

12TH OCTOBER 2009  - I DID IT!! A huge thankyou to all of you who backed me. My 'chip' finish time came in at 1 hour 41 minutes and 7 seconds, finishing in 2135th position which I am really pleased with! Overall I expect to raise over £650 so everyones a winner! Thanks again, Steve
