Story
The Royal Marsden Hospital was the first hospital in the world dedicated to cancer treatment and research into the causes of cancer. Today the hospital forms the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe with over 40,000 patients from the UK and abroad seen each year.
In the early 80‘s one of those patients was my Father and for nearly 6 years, The Royal Marsden provided the treatment and care that helped him fight the disease.
This year on the 27th September I’ll be running the Windsor Half Marathon to raise at least £500 for the hospital and would greatly appreciate your donations to help me achieve this target.Donations matter a great deal to the The Royal Marsden as I'm sure you'll know. They gave a great deal in all aspects of cancer care to my Dad, who lost his fight on 2nd September 1988. I’d like to give something back.
Thanks - Steve
