Good run tonight. 6 miles and feel good. Ice bath to help the muscle repair. Thanks again to those who have sponsored me so far!
As I'm sure you all know by now, my late mum Sheila Partridge was an MS sufferer. She was an incredible person and was prematurly taken from us in March 2007. Having been surrounded by MS my whole life, I am now on a mission to raise as much money as possible in an attempt to make MS sufferers lives as comfortable as possible.
Last year I completed a 60km walk starting from Goodwood race course, and thanks to your support, rasied almost £2,000. I have decided to take part in an annual event so that I can continue to raise money for the MS society.
This year, I have decided to take part in the London marathon on the 22nd April. For those of you that know me, I am not built for running! Far from it. However I am excited by the challange, and more obviously the challenge of raising money for such a wonderful charity.
I know several people who have run the marathon, and I now have a new found respect, as believe me it is a long long way to run. I have now completed an 18 mile run as part of the training and can say 'it was painful'. The thought of having to go a further 8 miles on top fills me with dread.
Without 'pulling on your heartstrings', I would be so grateful if you could sponsor and support me on what will be to date my biggest challenge yet. Thank you so much for your kind generousity. Xx
