Story

Thank you for visiting my page. I have decided to take part in the Nantwich Triathlon on 8th September to raise some money for Cancer research in memory of a good friend of mine who sadly passed away last year.

Pete Holland was a great bloke, someone known to his friends and family as a true gent, he was a loving husband and father. At 56 years old he left us far too soon and over 12 months on his close friends and family are left trying to come to terms with their loss.

I knew Pete for many years when we worked the doors together in Wrexham but lost touch for a few years until I bumped into him again one night outside the wine bar that he worked. We both had a love for shooting/hunting and from that point we got out together as much as we could.

I had some fantastic days out with Pete and memories Ill never lose. His laugh will always be here, something we will never forget. Its been quite painful for me getting back into training due to having a lower disc problem and recently having a knee operation…But when it hurts I think of Pete, how brave he was considering all that he went through and it keeps me going.

I miss you mate, we all do.
