Hello and thanks for visiting my justgiving page.

The 'MK2B' team are all employees of DHL Supply Chain and we aim to raise £10,000 for Help for Heroes.

First, a bit about DHL Supply Chain. We (the MK2B Team) all work for the Industrial division and we have around 4,000 employees in the UK. DHL Supply Chain has thousands more employees in the UK (in other divisions) and several thousand in Europe and around the world. We're the people who deliver your fuel to the filling station. We deliver the flour for your daily bread to the bakery. We deliver the oil and tyres for your car to the workshop. We even deliver your TV or washing machine to your front door.

Right, that's enough about what we do, let's get on to the important bit.

Our headline charity for 2010 is Help for Heroes. This fantastic charity was set up purely to help the guys and girls whose lives have been changed forever because of their job. It is a totally non-political cause, so regardless of your standpoint on war in Iraq and Afghanistan, you should feel as though you can give something to help. Remember, for every member of UK Forces who has died in Iraq or Afghanistan, there are 9 others whose lives have been changed forever. At the time of writing this page (26.01.2010) there have been 251 UK casualties. That means there are around 2,300 British Forces personnel who need your help.
