Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As part of Team "Wait For Me" I am attempting to complete the Bullock Smithy Hike in September 2016. My team are raising money for Wythenshawe Hospital Baby Unit. Please see Danielle's page on this link to donate as we would like to contribute to the purchase of some equipment or clothing for the newborns.

I'm also trying to raise some funds for Cancer Research which is a charity close to mine and my family's heart. As such have set up this page for donations.
So what is the Bullock Smithy Hike? A 56 mile trek that needs to be completed within 24 hours. We had an attempt 2 years ago and with minimal training and not really knowing what to expect we made it to 32 miles after a 13 hours before it got the better of us.
This year we are better prepared and highly motivated to go the distance. Training hikes are planned in and your support through donations will drive us to the finish.
The route is tough at various stages with long climbs that never seem to end, sapping your energy. That said there are some beautiful views to reward. We start at 12 noon on Saturday 3 September, ideally aiming to finish within 21 or 22 hours. So head torches and walking boots needed!
Have a look here for more information on the Bullock Smithy Hike. You can even see how we did in 2014!

We would be really grateful for any donations to our causes in order to really spur us on to complete the challenge!
