20 years ago this year my dad died from a heart attack which aside from the emotional upset it was a wake up call to the impact of cholesterol, exercise and keeping your heart healthy. I suppose we take this very much for granted these days but when we hear about healthy people succumbing to heart problems like Fabrice Muamba you realise it can happen to anybody so supporting the research, prevention and care undertaken by the British Heart Foundation is a very worthwhile thing to be doing and the more money we can raise for the BHF the more they can strive to attain their aims and objectives shown below:
Their mission is to play a leading role in the fight against disease of the heart and circulation, so that it is no longer a major cause of disability and premature death.
