Brighton Marathon 2013 · 14 April 2013 ·
I am taking part for this great cause due to a friend having acessed this great charity, here is their story.
Adam was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 12, he fought bravely for 3 years in the hope of betting this devastating illness, sadly he lost his fight on 10th May 2012 at the age of 15.
Chestnut Tree were able to offer support to Adam and his family by providing nursing care at home allowing adam to remain in the comfort of his home surrounded by the people he loved. They also were able to provide a resting place for Adam until his funeral was arranged this was a huge relief to the family knowing that he continued to be in their care.
Any parents worst nightmare is to lose a child and Chestnut Tree are there to provide some comfort at an extremely distressing time.
I'm running the marathon to support Chestnut Tree!! Please support me!!
