The Running for Shelter relay team has been racing the 24 hour, 200 mile Hood to Coast 200 mile relay in Oregon for 25 years.  During this period, we've raised over $1,000,000 for affordable housing!    This will be my eighth race with the team and it'll be our final year!

Every year we support non-profits involved in affordable housing.   We chose two this year:   

• National Church Residences    https://www.nationalchurchresidences.org/, a non-profit leader in integrating home and supportive services for seniors and vulnerable individuals, enabling them to live healthier and more satisfying lives.   Since 1961, they’ve opened 340 communities in 28 states.   
• Horizon Housing Foundation, https://horizonhf.org/ , provides social services to affordable non-profits in over 247 communities.
