Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After an enjoyable Great North Run in 2021, I have signed up to run it again this year for my first taste of the official route! This year I am running on behalf of the Durham Wildlife Trust and I couldn’t be happier to support this fantastic organisation. Working in the environmental profession, I massively care about nature conservation and enhancing biodiversity so it’s great to be able to raise money to help with these important issues. It’s also fantastic to be able to support a charity right on my doorstep. Rarely does a week go by when I don’t visit my local nature reserve at Rainton Meadows - for a family walk, a dog walk or on one of my local running routes. I also used to volunteer at Rainton Meadows several years ago so it’s great to be able to keep giving back to this important site that has given me lots of enjoyment over the years.

All donations are massively appreciated and I’ll be doing my best to try and improve on my 2021 time!
