I am doing the Perkins Great Eastern Run on October 9th 2011 to raise funds for The Cransley Hospice in Kettering. This is a local cancer hospice that relies 80% on donations. I had a dear friend who passed away in the hospice last year and will always be grateful for the love and attention they gave him in making his last few weeks as comfortable as possible. Many of you will have had the harsh realities of cancer cross your own paths in one way or another so I hope you see why I believe this fundraising is so important.
