Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in Tough Mudder on the 5th May 2018 for Solving Kids Cancer along with my work colleagues at Marks Sattin. Solving Kids Cancer is a very small charity that provides support for children and families affected by neuroblastoma, a rare form of paediatric cancer.

Tough Mudder is a 12 mile assault and endurance event that plays on common fears such as fire, water, electricity and heights. This is all for a great cause and I would be so grateful if you would help support me and the charity through a donation however big or small - it's all worth it! Thank you x

A few statistics about Neuroblastoma:

  • There are around 100 cases of Neuroblastoma diagnosed a year, where predominantly children are under 5 years old.
  • Neuroblastoma has one of the lowest survival rates of all childhood cancers, with only 67% surviving to 5 years.
  • High-risk Neuroblastoma has a high chance of relapse, and relapsed Neuroblastoma has low survival rates - only 1 in 10 survive a relapse.

So please dig deep!
