Heart disease touches us all. We all know someone who has died or suffered with the disease. I lost my brother Ray nearly four years ago. His death could possibly have been prevented if we knew more about heart disease and how changes to our life style can help. The research that charities like the BHF do can help end the suffering caused by the disease. I see the ride as a fantastic personal challenge and one that I'm really looking forward to doing. I'm sure that during the ride there will be times when I think ‘why did I decide to do this’, and then I'll just think of Ray and keep pedalling!
