I am raising funds to buy equipment for Plumstead Corps to change its monthly community cafe into a weekly community cafe. To do this and attract more of the local community and provide a better outreach, we want to buy some good cafe equipment. 

Plumstead Corps is situated in a very rough and run down estate, where there are many drug and gang related problems. We want the Corps to be somewhere every member of the local community, whatever race or age group the may be feels they can come and spend time safely within community. Through this we aim to build a new sense of hope in this deprived Community at the same time as building the corps profile in the local area and sharing Jesus.

The triathlons are all sprint triathlons so;

Swim 750m

Bike 20KM

Run 5KM

Im not too bad on the bike and running but the swim is a different matter! Especially as the last two triathlon swims are in the Thames and in the Docklands.
