Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you know I've been eyeing up this ride for a while and now have now been given the opportunity by the british heart foundation support me and support them

Having lost my father suddenly earlier in 2013 and having been always so interested in cycling I wanted to give something back in his name. Something that was not easy something that needed to be worked for due to the effort that he put to helping others. I have managed to get a place on the London Surrey 100 mile ride (following some of the Olympic route) out from the Olympic stadium through to surrey and up box hill  it's no small hill just drive up it to see and finishing back in london's Mall to pop into see lizzy in her palace - Or not

Some of you know that I have always wanted to do the London marathon but having an iffy knee it was always a huge risk but on a bike (its not going to be easy) and no doubt a lot of blood sweat and tears with but with support from training partners and your donations driving me through I will be at the finish line in August 2014 with a smile on my face and probably a bit sore.

Help me reach and exceed my target and do not forget to giftaid if you can

Training has begun and is pushing me hard will need a holiday after all of this
