Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. A rather silly conversation with my friend Raz Frew has led to me entering the 70 Wild Miles event in Glencoe, on June 5th 2010. The event consists of a 47 mile bike ride from the White Corries ski centre in Glencoe to Taynuilt, 10 mile kayak on Loch Etive and a final, punishing 13 mile run to head of Glen Etive (most of which is uphill). As a man who trains by lifting tyres, weights and chocolate bars this represents a real challenge!

I am doing this event for Clic Sergeant, Scotland. This is the leading childrens' cancer charity and provides an astonishing service to children and families affected by this terrible disease. Any contribution you can make will truly make a difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I really appreciate you considering sponsoring me to complete this event, and thank you in advance for any support you can give to this wonderful charity.

Best wishes,

Steve
