Story

On September 12th/13th this year I am taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for I CAN and I'd really appreciate your support. I CAN is a worthwhile cause, who help children with communication disabilities to ensure that no child is left out or left behind because of a difficulty in speaking or understanding. You can learn more here: http://www.ican.org.uk/

The 3 Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in the UK starting at Ben Nevis in Scotland, than travel to Scaffell Pike in England and finally arriving at Snowdon in Wales. The aim is to complete this within 24 hours – that’s 43km of walking, 3,000 meters of ascent, 750km of driving between the 3 peaks.

I am aiming to raise £1,000 so please help me achieve this target.  :-)

About the charity

At least 1.9 million children in the UK are struggling to talk and understand words.  We give children and young people the skills they need so they aren't left behind. We do this by creating tools for schools and nurseries, giving advice and guidance to families and putting pressure on politicians.
