Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is something that has affected me quite personally as a family member was diagnosed last year with frontotemporal dementia which is a rarer type of dementia that starts at a younger age. There is currently no cure or treatment and the best we can hope for is to raise money for more research in the hope that solutions can be found for future generations.

So that's why I'm taking on the Step Up for Dementia challenge. I will be aiming to complete 10,000 steps a day for October to raise awareness and funds.

I am also competing with my husband to see who can raise £100 first, so I welcome your help and support :)

Any donations, big or small will be appreciated and it will ensure that the Alzheimer Society can be there for the people who need them most.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
