As an avid long-distance runner and marathon competitor, I felt extremely compelled to participate in the 120km bike ride to raise money for the people of Ukraine. As a result of the war, millions of Ukrainians and their families have been displaced and have been forced to flee their homes, living amongst the violence without adequate shelter and food.

I am inspired and profoundly moved by the strength and unwavering bravery of the Ukrainian people amid these challenging times. The spirit of these people will inspire me and motivate me as I complete the 120km bike ride in their honour.
