We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Steve and Yuan Bear are off again on their travels after the amazing success of the Great Wall of China Trek in October 2007 which raised £7000.

This time we are off to Peru - Lares Trek to Machu Picchu.

IN FACT WE HAVE JUST COMPETED THE CHALLENGE!! AN AMAZING EXPERIANCE.

We are raising money for the Alzheimers Society, as my Mother in Law has Alzheimers, she loves cuddly bears that is why Yuan Bear is so involved in raising money for the Alzheimers Society.

700,000 people have some form of dementia - enough people to fill every premiership league football stand in the UK.

1 in 3 older people will end their lives with dementia.

Please give generously to help fight this terrible disease.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Yuan and Steve are writing a book about Yuans adventures, called "Making Memories", to bring awareness about dementia, hopefully available at the end of 2009.

So please sponsor us now!

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
